Oregon’s Trail Card — Keep Your Existing Card

Oregon Summer EBT benefits load directly onto the Oregon Trail Card for households that already receive SNAP or TANF. The Oregon Trail Card is Oregon’s state-branded EBT card — named in recognition of Oregon’s historical significance as the destination of the Oregon Trail.

If you received Summer EBT benefits in 2025: Keep your existing Oregon EBT card — 2026 benefits will be loaded onto the same card beginning June 5, 2026. No new card will be mailed.

If this is your first time receiving Summer EBT: A new card will be mailed to your address on file.

Replacement cards: Call 855-328-6715.

Who Qualifies for Oregon Summer EBT

Automatically Enrolled — No Application Needed

Children of any age who were approved for free or reduced-price school meals at an NSLP or SBP school are also automatically enrolled.

Families who don’t meet the above criteria but whose children attended Oregon schools during the 2025–2026 school year and whose household income is at or below 185% FPL may apply:

Oregon Trail Card and Double Up Food Bucks

Oregon SNAP — and by extension, Summer EBT — benefits are accepted at any authorized SNAP retailer statewide. Oregon also participates in Double Up Food Bucks, which matches SNAP spending dollar-for-dollar on fresh fruits and vegetables at participating farmers’ markets and select grocery stores (up to $20 per visit).

While Double Up Food Bucks applies specifically to SNAP Trail Card spending, Oregon families using both Summer EBT and SNAP at participating markets during the summer can maximize their fresh produce purchasing power.

No Multi-State Benefits

Oregon explicitly notes: children cannot receive 2026 Summer EBT benefits in multiple states. If your child received or will receive Summer EBT from another state, they are not eligible to also receive Oregon’s benefits.

Where to Use Oregon Summer EBT

Oregon Summer EBT works at any authorized SNAP retailer statewide:

  • Major grocery chains — Fred Meyer (Kroger), Safeway, Albertsons, WinCo Foods, New Seasons Market, Market of Choice, Grocery Outlet, Walmart
  • Farmers’ markets that accept SNAP/EBT — Oregon has extensive EBT farmers’ market access; Double Up Food Bucks available at many markets
  • Convenience stores with SNAP authorization
  • Online grocery ordering at Walmart and Amazon Fresh where EBT is accepted

Oregon has no state-specific SNAP food purchase restrictions — all federally approved SNAP items remain purchasable with the Oregon Trail Card.
